Stanley (he/him/his) is a recent graduate from UBC Vancouver, with a B.Sc. specializing in Cell and Developmental Biology. Following his retirement from competitive Highland Dance due to injury, he discovered yoga; his practice empowered him to feel whole and grounded amidst a challenging chapter in his adventure. Diving deeper into his practice, Stanley completed his 200 hour yoga teacher training with Naked Truth Yoga School — a program he deeply resonated with, developed by dancers. His guiding philosophy in movement is inspired by, Wabi Sabi, a Japanese belief of accepting perfection in imperfection.

If he’s not in the studio, you’ll likely find him hiking, reading, or playing some board games. Stanley considers himself a coffee connoisseur and an oat milk fanboy — his polarizing fun fact is that he likes to eat a kiwi like and apple.
